Savannah has a slightly more relaxed vibe too, in my opinion. My 7 year old son would find that more interesting and enjoy sitting at one of the River Street cafes watching the container ships go up and down the river. The carriage ride in Charleston is equivalent to the trolley train in Savannah in respects to price and the number of people on the carriage. The carriage will hold about 16 people.
