Stuff like will o wisp, gasoline, as opposed to mtg missiles, bleed, etc. You don't attack often enough as artificer to get any worth out of on hit. So go all in on on kill, so that you can start a massive proc chain. Rex's challenge is to stay under 50% health for a whole teleporter event.
